I've studied Kenpo for 14 years now and it's hard nowadays to find a school who is passionate about staying to to KENPO. I watched your clips and your speed, control and accuracy is awesome!!! Your site is cool I look forward to getting out of the Air Force and starting my own school and keeping Kenpo true and moving foward. This site is awesome and Im sure you have great students. I would mind visiting there sometime and training with you sometime I'm sure I could learn a lot from you. I just appreciate what you are doing because it seem that true practioners are a dying breed. Your the real deal!!!! Thank you and Peace over Power

Larry do you rememberthe last time you were in Jersey (96 I think)at about 07:30 on the morning of the championships You,Me and Dennis Lawson were talking about Form 5 in the lobby of the Monterey hotel, we decided to run through it in the dinning room we did the form 3 times together and by the end the waitresses, the chefs and the residents were all watching, as soon as we came to meditating horse at the end of the 3rd run they all burst in to spontaeous applause. one of my top kenpo moments, no judgement no ego just 3 kenpo amigo's having fun.

11:30pm 01-13-2008 Maurice Gomez: Just wanted to give a congrats to the Monrovia students and all the other students from Diamond Bar and Santa Clarita for a very well job done at the Surf City Karate Championships this past weekend. It was a great day and everybody kicked butt.

Big congrats to:

Lassandra Cook from Monrovia for taking 3rd place in her sparring divison. This was her very first karate tournament but she held her own and built up her confidence. Good job to Carley from Santa Clarita for taking 2nd. It was awesome to see two Carley and Lassandra go at it for 2nd and 3rd place. I didn't know who to root for!

Also, congrats to Michael Garcia from monrovia for taking 2nd place in Self Defense and 4th in Forms divison. He tried his best and I must salute him for that.

I believe we have more place winners so congrats to you all as well. Good Job guys,
